• KEY STAGE ONE AND TWO

The school provides a curriculum based on the National Curriculum, as laid down by the Department of Education. This comprises of the five 'core' subjects of  English,  Mathematics,  Science,  Religious Education and Information and Communication Technology.

Further foundation subjects are History,  Geography, Art,  Physical Education,  Design Technology and Music.

• SCHOOL WORSHIP

St Mary of Charity Primary School is a Church of England aided school and an act of collective worship is held every day, in line with the legal requirements of the 1988 Education Act. Parents have a right to withdraw their children from assemblies and from Religious Education lessons, but they are encouraged to discuss their objections with the Head Teacher before making a final decision. Withdrawn children will be supervised in a classroom.
